Meet Vicki Leist – Founder of CHAT

At the heart of CHAT, a Christian-based homeschool resource center, is a passion for faith, family, and education—and that passion begins with its founder, Vicki Leist.

Vicki Leist founded CHAT with a vision to create a supportive, Christ-centered environment where homeschooling families could thrive together. As a dedicated homeschool parent and leader, she understands both the joys and challenges that come with educating children at home. Her desire was to build more than just a program—she set out to create a community rooted in faith and encouragement.

Through her leadership, CHAT has become a place where families are equipped academically while also being strengthened spiritually. Vicki is passionate about helping parents feel confident in their calling as educators and providing students with opportunities to grow in knowledge, character, and their relationship with Christ.

Her commitment to biblical values is woven into every aspect of CHAT, from the classes offered to the relationships built within the community. She believes that education should not only inform the mind but also shape the heart.

Vicki’s servant leadership, vision, and dedication continue to impact families year after year. Under her guidance, CHAT remains a place where learning is meaningful, friendships are lasting, and Christ is at the center of it all.
